True; I have seen it on other (not only vBulletin) forums, it's rather weird. Nothing gained nor lost, I guess.

I haven't a clue how the vBulletin styling thingy worked, as I have never really
seen it much. But if someone were to want to make a skin, it would probably not that hard to make one better than this. Though I don't know anyone would care more than I do.

Another option would be to return old skins, if they are still found somewhere and still work with the newer version.

I think it's pretty much just JB installing an add-on to the vB software. He's done it 3 times before, so it can't be too difficult for him by now :V


Say, this reminded me of another old idea we had: Source currency. We had the system in place for a short time when we tried making the Source Casino. It pretty much failed because it required mods to regulate all currency, plus the casino just kinda sucked. Why not just have it work like rep, except that we can set up games that also give it to you AND whenever you give someone STDs, you lose the same amount? It seems like the rep system could just be copied to make money work here.

Kinda my point. Most people on TS could actually implement it in Java within about 20 minutes. However, I have absolutely no knowledge of php or SQL, let alone how to integrate all that shit with vBulletin. I'm sure JB or CP could do it, but not without a lot of trial and error, effort, and time. So it comes down to if they really wanna deal with that shit just so they can give us STDs
