View Full Version : Source Magic League Legacy Megablock Challenge

Legacy format, with a few exceptions:

You must have exactly four of each card you have in your deck, not counting basic lands.
Every card you have must be from a different set.
You can't have anything from a core set (that is, it can be in a core set, but it must appear in a set, and it counts as your card from that set)
Nothing is banned as long as it isn't an ante card or reuires flipping.

Anyone interested? Besides Jenius, I mean? :V

Legacy is kind of over encompassing.

I'm basically just whining because all I was ever good at was limited :V, so if I'm ever serious about things it has to be a format where you don't have many options and it's more about how clever you are at making synergy between mediocre cards.

Also, I think maybe nothing will be banned or restricted cept whatchamacallit, ante and manual dexterity cards. And no sideboards. There we go, that's everything. :)

firstly, why are you running Lions Eye Diamond over blacklotus?

well you have enough mana, so you should have like 2 mana spells +1 free mana in every hand i'd guess. so you could do like demonic tutor for will, reload mana and tutor for tendrils.

-4 cabal ritual
+4 demonic tutor?

I took this to mean we could not use core sets, but a core set card such as Dark Ritual would be okay because it has been in expansions. But it is vaguely worded, so now I'm now sure.

edit: no disruption either. duress. no idea what you'd take out. then again, everything can go for broke so just add more draw and it'll be fine.

Quite a bit can be discarded with the Bazaar. I haven't liked any of the suggested replacements yet.
