There are a couple of players (notably Purple Shrimp and Caldera) which I don't know if they're active or not. I'll take you as a replacement, read the material that I posted in the first thread and PM me your moves as either Austria or France, and if one of the players doesn't respond I'll put you in their place.

If both don't, then yeah I'll need more replacements

The replacements are going to make fall moves, that or England and Turkey will be given HOLD orders for the rest of the game.

edit-or they'll be offlimits, which I'm considering as they're in the corners of the map and letting Psion take Anatolia would make this game a slight ridiculous.

We're going to have them have hold orders. You want to go for the Turkish or British Supply centers, they're free. If we get replacements, they'll start playing those nations.

I'm saying having two countries hold for the entire game is a horrible upset to game balance and having a replacement "join later" is stupid because if they miss even one or two moves they're already incredibly behind. By 1902 roles around the British and Turks will be out of the game anyway.

Ave-the earlier thread had the wikipedia article with the rules, as well as a strategy guide in it, though note that the writer is biased against Turkey and Turkey is actually better than he suggests.

This. First move is one of the most important in the game, and if we don't redo England and Turkey are once again behind and the game is unbalanced. And I'm saying that as Germany, the country with probably the most to gain from keeping the Spring Hold orders (namely, England holding).
