So I got invited by Atma to play in his WotC Invitational. The first "day" is 3 or 4 rounds of Swiss of MYOS. Basically, you choose whatever 2 blocks and 1 coreset you want to use and build on that. The catch is that both block and legacy bans are in effect. (Affinity is gutted by block bannings, for example.)

Thoughts? Some cards I'm considering are Chromatic Star, Ancestral Vision, Exhaustion.

God, I wish I had access to mana short or gigadrowse...

Too many lands imo. Replace 4 with stars.

possibly bounce spells for anti combo stuff?

Picking bounce spells is tough when the possible picks are very limited.

bun: atma's invitational is full but we could do a couple rounds of it in the source magic league...

I'd be totally up for it if yall want to. Post a thread and we can all sign up, then pick sets, then post deck lists, then play whenever we want and post game logs or something?

I'd be game... I'm trying to think of what might hurt my deck and how to deal with it.

I'm kind of afraid of CounterTop, really. Counterbalance I can deal with, top I'm not sure about...
