My mom wanted a $200 Dell that was one of those minis. It was pretty terrible, though.

Me neither! My friend was gloating about getting to use my ex's a while back, and I was like "who the fuck would want a mini-laptop, and why would I want to have one of those over my already underpowered laptop?"

@Cara: Nice.

As for why I might want one, other than that it's adorable, is because my full-sized laptop weighs somewhere around 7 lbs which makes it kinda a pain to shlep around, whereas this little thing is an inconsequential addition to my bag. Plus it has fantastic battery life.

But yeah, the Dell ones are crap. Asus ftw!
