His ideas were insane, but he possessed many qualities of a good leader. He was determined, ambitious, persuasive, inspiring, a fantastic public speaker and a master of diplomacy. If he didn't plan on ruling the world, he could have probably united it :V

He was a charismatic (more on this later) crowd pleaser and nothing more, really. Most of "his ideas" were formed by other Nazi Party high-ups already and he was the scenery that people watched. Seriously, that guy is thick as a brick.

And also his charisma was not that huge anyway. German people were begging for a leader anyway - it was the age of charismatic people leading countries - Hitler just happened to be the rockstar of the age. Just because a dumb brick is yelling at desperate crowds and turning them into angry mobs doesn't mean he was a great guy. You know who was a great "leader"? Che Guevara. He made tired people cut some slack and work their asses off. He set a forest on fire instead of likes of Eva and Hitler who sparkled the gasoline barrel. There's a difference between the two (Hitler/Eva/Stalin etc vs Che), the difference of being the much anticipated savior of the masses and the guy saving the masses despite their efforts.
