I vaguely remember reading about this on WM. What made you think you had brain cancer to begin with?

seizure where i just randomly collapsed. in hindsight i was having blackouts all day.

they weren't sure if it was cancer/sometumor or epilepsy. getting those test done to find out was scariest time of my life.

it turned out to be epilepsy. some people grow out of it, but i'm gonna be poppin pills daily for the rest of my life. they make me tired, 'blurry' memory, headaches (i take aleve daily for that), and just in general weaker than i used to be. i also get headaches from lights and loudsounds a lot easier and more frequently.

so yeah it sucks. but atleast its not cancer.

The thing is I didn't just develop.

I've always had epilepsy (as far back as I can remember, I just didn't know the signs). There are these things called partial seizures I believe. They are basically these random moments in time you just completely black out. You don't think, you don't see anything, you don't hear anything. It is absolutely nothingness.

I always thought it was just 'zoning out' like other people do and everyone experienced it and I just had really random ones more often and slightly worse.

See with epilepsy there is a "seizure threshold" so the doctor explained. Everyone can have a seizure, but usually the threshold for normal people is really high. With epilepsy the threshold is lowered, and it is further lowered with stress and exhaustion.

I had been extremely tired as i was completely out of my sleepcycle and had worked all day the day before doing inventory. Also I have been very very stressed the past 6 months for various personal reasons.

The medication is supposed to "raise" you're seizure threshold.

I got everyone to believe I had cancer at one point, I think. Were you saying you're not actually fat and just have a giant tumor in your belly?

Or carrying twins?

I'm that you don't get brain cancer but the fact that you put this on the source unsettles me slightly. Perhaps my view is extreme considering I don't post pics in "expose yourself" threads or really share anything about my life except the vaguest details, and would never consider talking about something this significant on a bizarre internet forum which, at its best, is comprised 50% of lulz. I guess I may go farther than most others in making my activity on the source completely separate from my life but I would still rethink using this place (or any internet forum) as a medium of discussing something like this. Again, congratulations.
