Normally Woot only sells one item a day but during the woot off they sell an item until it sells out then put another one up immediately. And this goes until something sells out.

What type of things do they tend to give? I don't want one, but I'm just curious about the general subject matter that could be expected.

If not, it is usually electronics but there is other random stuff.

I just wanted to know the scope of random, I mean could a nail off the floor end up in your bag or something?

They seem in high demand so I wonder if that means the items within are generally far more valuable than the 3 dollars.

They mean anything. The stuff you get will mosy likey cost more than $3 and you can get really expensive items if you are really lucky.
