I was recently handed a flyer for a maquerade party with a fetish twist which is set to take place at a gay club in Ybor city. Now then, I have never been to a gay club, nor a fetish party, nor a masquerade party and am therefore unsure as to the proper attire for such an event. The closest I can get in my mind is the ball scene from Sweeny Todd and Van Helsing. Movies are probably not the best thing to go on, so I come to you my fellow sourcites. :V

TL;DR: Club attire or slightly piratey outfit?

Oh hai, I figured it out. Going as a pirate. Now I just have to find a ruffled shirt and some suitable pants.

yes because the above two are not going to happen. I think straight bars are usually a lot skeezier than gay bars.

The gay bar is hosting it. The event is being run by a group that caters to all sexualities. Also, The VaudeVillans are supposed to be there. Horray burlesque dancing. \o/

EDIT: I still need to find a ruffled shirt and acceptable pants.
