I'm lucky if I can get eight hours of sleep a week.

I'll sing you a lullaby if you want

Your name makes me think of not falling asleep.

I like his name.

I don't know. Bleh. It's been on and off for the past few weeks, or months. I can't even remember. I've been able to sleep for the past few days, though, so it caught me off guard, on a bad night. Desperation is setting in.

Great. There goes the rest of the night.

Hehehe.

I didn't mean it in a bad way though, just like the inevitability of never falling asleep.

It's okay.<3

We're all slaves to that book.

Ehit: what I meant was that now that you've made me think of House of Leaves, there is no way I can sleep, like when I was reading it.

I've been trying to get my friends into it here and only one has bitten and he read like 60 pages then said it was too scary. XP

I've tried too, and no one will.

I've also tried to read Only Revolutions a few times, and have failed. It's not scary, I don't know.

I dunno, is it worth reading? Should I try?

I say no. Conceptually, it seems neat, but I don't like the style at all.

Time to put on Kid A and try reading Gravity's Rainbow (I don't think I'll ever finish it) - that's a surefire way to get to bed within seconds. :V

I didn't lose sleep over it. Creepy, yes, but I thought it was more sad than anything.

I didn't lose sleep either but it did get me to worry about stuff for no reason.

I just lost homework. Read the thing in like 3 days. I'm going to say that it made me jittery, and that's probably the most any work of fiction will ever do to me.

I dunno about Only Revolutions. The most amazing thing about House of Leaves, the fact that all 3 narrators are amazingly different, isn't present in Only Revolutions. This is probably due to the style of the book, but it put me off.

Now I'm really tempted to read that book, but I already sometimes worry about stupid things, and don't need anything else to worry about. But something sado-masochistic within me wants to read it so bad now.

Gen 1:2 And the earth was waste and without form; and it was dark on the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God was moving on the face of the waters.
