How it'll work:

If you have one post or lack a CT, your CT will be "unicellular organism." If you have a 100, you will go up one level and earn a new CT. If you have 200, you will go up one level and earn a new CT. If you have 300, you will go up one level and earn a new CT.

The CT levels are secret - you won't know what the are until 1) they actually work 2) someone gets that many posts.

Spamming SOLELY to raise post count will cause your CT to be edited to "unicellular organism" (or something stupid and embarrassing) and I'll reset your post count to zero.

Eventually, you'll hit 1,336 and be able to set your own CT.

Why? Well, I just suck at writing CTs, that's why.

I apologize if I protest too much but in my experience custom titles are a great way of establishing identities among the users in the environment of an internet forum and were used to great effect in the source, often following some humorous posting event, obviously as interpreted by an administrator. I understand the idea of motivating people to post with different levels of default titles but please do not write off the concept of a custom title in the traditional sense altogether. Thank you

Seriously though, just give random custom titles, don't have milestone titles. That's like a participant ribbon.

No, they can be rewards OR vehicles or comedy. Like when JB made my title "ask about her mouth" or something when I first posted on TS. But there shouldn't be a postcount title change. That's just advertising "I'm not interesting enough to have been given a real CT even though I have 8,999 posts" or something.
