So for a period last year I was going through a phase where I was trying to be a stoic, and not think about anything sexual. It was actually rather successful, but then a friend of mine did a booty call.

Long story short, we did it for like 3 hours and nothing happened.

Yes, but there are some people, a lot actually, who just aren't very good at it. You can only compensate for a partner to a certain degree.

Sex is 'eh'. It's what you make of it. Personally, I think that we obsess to much over sex and sexuality. But then, to me it's been getting more soulless as time goes on. The more I do it, the better I get, and the more mechanical it gets.

This is true. However, not to sound like a straw Vulcan, but a lot a LOT of people put way too much import into a biological drive, which is something that can really get in the way of relationships.

Another thing--I've made out with a guy (during a devil's threesome). He's the only guy I've ever been attracted to, but I'm open to the concept. Mostly because I'm more interested in a person's personality than anything external, and this guy was, well, all the things I could find interesting in a dude.
