I have disabled IP checking from this thread using the threadmanage_getip hook. The template change should suffice from the thread display side.

Edit: Also, apparently vBulletin's "Delete posts as spam" usually shows IPs as well, but it's broken when deleting unregistered user's posts. So that needs no fixing. Whee.
