You (sarcastically, I assume) suggested taking sleeping pills, so I added alcohol to be sarcastic back, if kinda tongue in cheek.

Well firstly, drinking isn't nearly as healthy as prescribed and measured sleeping pills.

Secondly, I was just joking so none of it matters. :P

Red wine is good for you and the fact the cultured folk who drink red wine also tend to exercise more and eat better meals than the fat layabouts who don't has nothing at all to do with it.

Oh and Tony you're a retard.

does it count if it's from a box?

you can inflate the bag inside and pass out on it.

mrs_bun

Wine in canada comes in bags? o_O

Shadow
07-07-2009, 09:00 AM
yeah, they've got those here too. Nobody buys them though because you get low quality wine but have to pay more for it cause it's in a box.

Wine comes in bags(in boxes) everywhere. The top shelf stuff comes is in bottles and rancid grape juice comes in bags.

The taste of it you'll get used to though. It's healthy and cheap and it doesn't give you a hangover.

Red or White? because Red Wine is the most efficient alcohol at producing hangovers.

Around here, there are plenty of midrange wines that come in both box and bottle.

The joke, of course, is that alcohol and sleeping pills together are a lethal combination, as, fortunately, people well know. Apparently a lot of people are upset about the state of Magic - for the last seven hours or so, their forums have been down! And, of course, I'm not helping matters by trying to come up with "clever" ideas to make everyone happy that turn out to be worse than what they were complaining about...

You dont' have to pay more, you pay a lot less... boxed wine is like 5 bucks for a pretty large box of at least two bottles worth of wine. I mean, that doesn't make me want to buy it, it sucks so much!

What I do like is that since I'm mostly casual, the rule changes don't affect me!

The wotc system was ridiculously better with wizo's. They basically broke the forum by the gleemax switch over. They made it so someone could destroy the first three pages of a forum with shocksites and take 12 hours to have them deleted. And they got rid of any sort of reliability in moderation. Grr

To be honest that's how it was when gleemax was around. Everything was in disarray. Now mods get things done pretty quickly because this new system is in place but it doesn't mean I agree with the system. Threads can get locked for no reason if you report them for certain things because the ORCs don't read them most of the time and if they do they'll just delete a bunch of posts so the continuity of the thread is completely destroyed. The other main problem is not being able to speak directly to ORCs about decisions they made. WizO's for the most part were always polite and willing to talk. Customer Service barely works. You can send a message and either they'll send you a response saying you're wrong, a copy and paste filler message, or nothing at all. Costumer Service solves nothing.

edit: Now that there aren't WizOs all over the world you don't get moderation at all hours which would be nice since there are posters from all over the world on the site.

Oh I know, gleemax was awful. It's improved a lot, but it still isn't nearly as good as wizo's imo. It's just a system of automated responses now. They've removed the ability for a moderator to make a decision depending on the situation and set a general guideline that doesn't really cover everything. It isn't that big a deal at the end of the day. It's just annoying that there was no reason they needed to do it.

They say it's because there was a lot of claim there was favoritism on the D&D or Starwars side of the forum or something. Well that is just those moderators that were poor choices and should have lost their jobs. Magic side wizo's did great and everyone liked them.

It's improved, but still bad.

I didn't post anywhere but on the Magic side of the forums, but those WizOs were great people. I remember even playing Starcraft with Myst once. Sucks that they aren't part of the community anymore.
